Bak-kut-teh (肉骨茶) is a Chinese soup popularly served in Malaysia, Singapore and also, neighbouring areas like Riau Islands and Southern Thailand. The name literally translates as "meat bone tea", and at its simplest, consists of meaty pork ribs simmered in a complex broth of herbs and spices (including star anise, cinnamon, cloves, dang gui, fennel seeds and garlic) for hours. Despite its name, there is in fact no tea in the dish itself; the name refers to a strong oolong Chinese tea which is usually served alongside the soup in the belief that it dilutes or dissolves the copious amount of fat consumed in this pork-laden dish.
Bak kut teh is usually eaten with rice or noodles (sometimes as a noodle soup), and often served with youtiao (油條) for dipping into the soup. Soy sauce is preferred as a condiment, with which chopped chili and minced garlic is taken together. Bak kut teh is typically a famous morning meal. (From Wikipedia)

I'd tried Malaysian food before when I was in Taiwan. Bak kut teh with noodles has always been my favorite. I love the soup that has the aroma of pork and tea. The tender meat with soy sauce is also irresistible. Sentosa also serves all kinds of authentic Malaysian cuisine. You have a lot of great options! Most of the dishes are around $10.
The Indian bread is also my favorite. The crispy bread with the curry sauce is a perfect match! It only costs you $3. Also you have to try their Hainan chicken. You would love the tender chicken with the hot chili sauce.
